2008

Saturday 18th September: Flew out from Bristol leaving Nick behind. Met at airport by the Wallers, drive a couple of hours to house.
Sunday 19th September: Cloudy, head to Ovideo, walk around, coffee and cakes. Then to Candas for seafood lunch. Beach at Ribesella.
Monday 20th September: Caras Gorge.
Tuesday 21st September: Local walk and new road.
Wednesday 22nd September: Picu Pienzu. El Fito climb to cross on peak views above cloud to Picos de Europa and out to sea. (Brief visit to beach on way home.)
Wednesday 23rd September: Lagos de Covadonga / Vega de Ario 3.5 hrs up / 2.5 hrs down.
Friday 24th September: Funicular Bulnes - walk back down. Change in weather...
Saturday 25th September: Ribadsella headland then to Llanes - beach then lunch. Return to clean up house.
Sunday 26th September: Early start for return flight - then long wait at airport between Wallers' flight and mine. No left luggage facilities so didn't go in to see G.
